L&T Cardiovascular and Respiratory Trainer

This project focused on developing a cardiovascular and respiratory examination trainer.

The aim was to create a realistic training tool that replicates heart and lung sounds, pulses, and chest movement, allowing students and medical professionals to practise assessment skills safely and effectively.

I joined the CaRE team two years into a four-year project. By this point, they had developed a functioning prototype that required significant work to reach a finished product. My three main focuses were the female attachment system, chest movement assembly, and the sound detection zones. I supported the handover of the project to the mass manufacturing team and helped address any remaining bugs.
